Lightweight Championship bout:
Shinya Aoki vs. Joachim Hansen
Round 1:
Aoki gets the takedown, Hansen upkicks and Aoki works from the half guard. Hansen peppering from the bottom, Hansen kicks up and hits the groin...Aoki given the 5 minutes. Restart - Aoki jumps and pulls guard, Hansen standing in the guard and lands a couple of strikes. Hansen stands again in the guard and rains down punches....Aoki is out after about 8 punches and the fight is over!!
**ALVAREZ is injured and will not fight in the FINALS - Hansen will take his place**
Mark Hunt vs. Alistair Overeem via Submission - Armbar Round 1
Round 1:
Hunt lands a combo, and another combo and Overeem is on his back with Hunt in guard. Overeem goes for the armbar and gets it....fight over as Hunt taps!
Middleweight Bout:
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Katsuyori Shibata via Submission - Front Choke w/gi Round 1
Feather Weight Match:
Hideo Tokoro vs. Takeshi Yamazaki via Unanimous Decision
**INTERMISSION**

Lightweight Grand Prix Bouts:
Eddie Alvarez vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri via TKO - Strikes Round 1
Round 1:
Kawajiri opens with low leg kicks, Alvarez throws a combo and shoots for a takedown, Kawajiri stuffs it. Clinched against the ropes, both throwing knees, the ref puts them back in the center, Kawajiri lands a right, both fighters exchange punches, again and Kawajiri follows with a low leg kick. Alvarez now with the low kicks, both exchange punches and Kawajiri goes down, back up but Alvarez is still landing body shots. Kawajiri has recovered and he is trowing combos....fight is stopped to check cut under Alvarez's right eye. Restarted - Kawajiri lands a left and Alvarez is down, Kawajiri in half guard, now full. Kawajiri moves into mount, some GNP by Kawajiri and Alvarez escpaes and they are standing again and throwing bombs, big combos by both fighters. Alvarez knocks down Kawajiri and moves in with more strikes, Kawajiri bleeding now and the fight is over after about 10 more punches by Alvarez.
Shinya Aoki vs. Caol Uno via Unanimous Decision
Round 1:
Both fighters trying some kicks to no avail, flying knee by Aoki and he clinches Uno and gets the takedown. Uno reverses and is now in Aoki's guard, ref moves them back to the center, some GNP by UNo, Aoki looking for a leg lock or knee bar. Uno wearing shoes, making it easier for Aoki to grab hold of his foot, Uno escapes but Aoki gets his back. Body trianle leg lock by Aoki, Uno looking to turn into him and get in guard, Aoki keeps back control, nothing going on but positioning for a sub by Aoki. Aoki finally locks in a triangle choke and Uno is battling to get out, he escapes and is in Aoki's guard now. GNP now from Uno, upkick by Aoki and the round ends.
Round 2:
Aoki gets the takedown when Uno charges, Aoki in half butterfly guard. Now half guard for Aoki, hammerfists by Aoki, now in back control again and Aoki is looking for the submission. Uno can't escape yet but is landing some elbows, Aoki back in control on Uno's back. Uno turns into Aoki's guard and is landing some strikes, the fight ends with an omaplata try by Aoki.
