SENGOKU IV

Lightweight Fight:
Takanori Gomi vs. Bang Seung Hwan via Decision
Round 1:
Gomi with a low right leg kick, followed by another, Hwan looking to strike and Gomi lands a combo. Hwan with a combo of his own, left hook by Gomi, left jabs now by Gomi and Hwan counters with his own left hook, left LK. Hwan lands a right-left combo and Gomi continues peppering the left leg of Hwan with LK's. Gomi staking Hwan now landing precise punchesand the round ends.
Round 2:
Both fighters throwing combos and not much damage being done, low kicks again by Gomi and he is starting to put together combos. Gomi lands a knee from a quick clinch, Hwan counters with a right and a low kick floowed by a right hook. Gomi comes back with a left jab, Hwan shoots and Gomi defends and gets in full mount, Hwan escapes and both fighters are standing again. Gomi lands a couple more jabs and goes for a flying knee as the round ends.
Round 3:
Third and final round. Hwan strikes with a combo but Gomi comes back with a right-left counterstrike. Both fighters exchange strikes in the center of the ring, advantage Gomi so far, Gomi continues to chase Hwan around the ring. Gomi now landing strikes with precision, Hwan trying to counter but its not enough to stop him from backpeddling. More LK's by Gomi, both fighters look very tired and they are each trying for a KO punch as the fight ends.
Middleweight Fight:
Frank Trigg vs. Makoto Takimoto via Decision
Round 1:
Trigg starts with a low kick, Takimoto gets the takedown from the clinch as Trigg pushes. Takimoto working from Triggs guard now, Trigg escapes and stands and starts landing strikes. Takimoto looking for the takedown but Trigg basically collapses him and is in Takimoto's half guard. Standing strikes from Trigg as Takimoto is still on his back, Trigg closes in and lands several body shots. Back standing both fighters exchange combos and Trigg gets another takedown. Working from half guard is Trigg and the round ends.
Round 2:
Front kick by Trigg to start and they both exchange hooks, Trigg gets the takedown and is in side control. Knees to the body by Trigg and Takimoto transitions to half guard, Trigg stands up and moves back in with a left hook. More lefts by Trigg now, back in half guard, GNP by Trigg and Takimoto has no answer to the pressure. Both fighters up and Trigg takes Takimoto down again but Takimoto has as armbar in and Trigg finally breaks the hold and is in half guard again as the round ends.
Round 3:
Both fighters look tired. Takimoto shoots and almost gets the takedown before Trigg picks both legs and gets the takedown. Takimoto holding Trigg again in full guard now, Trigg transitions to Takimoto's back but Takimoto reverses and gets Trigg back in his guard. Both fighters looking for position and the ref stands them back up. Trigg holding Takimoto in the clinch in the corner and they break, exchange strikes and Trigg gets another takedown. Once again from half guard, GNP by Trigg and Takimoto seems content as the fight ends.
