Round 1:
Both fighters in the center of the cage, Liddell lands a right hook, Evans responds with a combo and Liddell lands another right. Body kick by Evans, Liddell moves in and lands a right, Evans responds with a low leg kick. Another low left kick by Evans, Liddell is bleeding from around his right eye, uppercut by Liddell.
Round 2:
Low kick by Liddell and he follows with a right, Evans lands a left hook. Another right by Liddell, Evans back with a combo - right/left and another left hook. Big right hook by Evans and Liddell is out cold..........GAME OVER!
Rich Franklin vs. Matt Hamill via TKO - Strikes RD 3. (0:39)
Round 1:
Franklin opens with low leg kicks, Hamill comes back with a few strikes. Franklin with more inside leg kicks, both exchange strikes and Franklin is bleeding from over the right eye, again with the low kicks by Franklin. Hamill gets the takedown and starts the GNP, armbar attempt from Franklin, and Hamill is bleeding now from under his right eye from an elbow.
Round 2:
Leg kick by Franklin and Hamill grabs it but is unable to get the takedown, Franklin with the striking combo. CUT CHECK by the ref on Franklin. Fight resumes, Franklin lands several strikes after blocking a single leg, both fighters trowing now and Franklin keeps with the inside low kicks, Hamill takes one to the crotch....he's fine and they are back in the center. Again both fighters exchanging strikes with Hamill the aggresore, now Franklin moving in and landing more low kicks, another strike - kick combo by Franklin. Hamill grabs a leg and tries the takedown again, Franklin gives him an uppercut and they both look to strike as the round ends.
Round 3:
Franklin starts again with kicks, a body kick and Hamill is hurt bad.......the fight is done!
Dan Henderson vs. Rousimar Palhares via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
Round 1:
Palhares shoots and Hendo unloads with rights, Palhares recovers and they are both standing again, Hendo defends another takedown. Body kick by Palhares and Hendo returns with a another right jab, Palhares shoots again and is denied. Palhares lands a left jab, both fighters exchange and Hendo gets the best of it landing an uppercut and more rights, Palhares goes to the ground and looks to get a leg, they break. Back standing now Palhares lands a side kick, and gets the takedown, working from side control, Palhares is in half guard now and the round concludes with Palhares going for a kneebar.
Round 2:
Hendo defends another takedown, and Palhares gets the double leg pickup and slams Hendo to the mat. From the closed guard, GNP by Palhares and Hendo goes for a triangle and Palhares counters with a heel hook. Hendo escapes and they back on their feet, Hendo blocks another takedown and lands a couple of rights. Hendo with the takedwon and he works from Palhares's guard, Hendo does the mouth choke again and lands a couple elbows, Herb Dean stands them up. Right hook by Hendo and this is going 3.
Round 3:
Palhares landing some kicks, left jab by Hendo, sprawl and another takedown defended by Hendo. Hendo lands a couple of rights, both fighters looking to strike..action slows - crowd boos. Niether fighter doing much and then they exchange strikes, Palhares gets the takedown and Hendo escapes back to his feet. Hendo throws a right, Palhares goes to the mat and gets a leg, Hendo escapes agin and they are back standing. Big right by Hendo to end the fight.
Nate Marquardt vs. Martin Kampmann via TKO - Strikes RD 1. (1:22)
Round 1:
Both fighters come out swinging, Kampmann lands a right and Marquardt lands a RHK, follows it with a knee against the cage and Marquart lands 2 uppercuts and continues throwing strikes, Kampmann is down and the ref steps in and the fight is over!
Dong Hyun Kim vs. Matt Brown via Split Decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29)
Round 1:
Brown comes out swinging, clinch now and Kim gets the takedown. From Browns back now as Brown stands, Kim again gets on Brown's back and goes for the standing RNC, Brown breaks the hold but is still carrying Kim on his back. Brown puts Kim on the ground, Kim escapes and eats a knee to the stomach from Brown. Both fighters standing now and Brown lands a LHK, Brown defends a takedwon and holds Kim against the cage. Kim goes for a throw and Brown lands on Kim's back, Brown gets reversed and Kim is now in control on Brown's back again as the round comes to an end.
Round 2:
Brown opens with a low right kick, both fighters exchange jabs, jumping knee blocked by Brown. From the clinch, Brown lands several knees, Kim pushes Brown into the cage. Brown defends another takedown and is landing strikes at will, Brown gets the takedown and works from Kim's guard. Upkick landed by Kim and Brown throws a spinning backfist standing with Kim on the ground. Both fighters back to their feet, Brown holding Kim against the cage, good combo by Brown as he walks Kim around the cage. Brown gets the takedown and is working from side guard with GNP as the bell rings.
Round 3:
Both fighters looking to strike and the ref stops it as Brown forgot his mouthguard, fight resumes...missed superman punch by Brown and Kim gets the takedwon and is in side control. Brown escapes and lands a couple knees from the clinch, now against the cage, more knees from Brown, Brown defends yet another takedown but Kim gets it on the second attempt. Working from the full guard,Kim trying to land strikes as he is behind on the scorecards, Brown throwing elbows from the bottom. Kim now landing elbows, Brown is cut badly under his left eye, the fight ends with Kim still in guard landing elbows.
