I think the biggest difference is the way people view damage. Like, most people can watch a male take alot more damage than a female in a fight. I understand that it's socially ingrained in us as a culture, but as a female that can take as much, if not more than I can give, it sux sometimes.

It is MUCH easier for a male to cut weight than a female. I have heard of guys that are within 10-15lbs on the day of weigh-ins saying they are good. NO WAY a girl could cut that much water in one day. Girls have a higher bodyfat % naturally so we retain much more water.

How focused are you on incorporating the 9th Planet system into your game?
I'm going to assume you are talking about Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet system since I used the Cobra Twist (Twister) in a recent fight and he popularized his style by using it. I'm not so concentrated on his system per say, I just like to use stuff that fits in to what I do. Alot of my half guard game came from his style, but alot of my other stuff comes from alot of other people as well. I like to watch everyone and take the stuff that's awesome.

The funny thing about this is, it's not really akward until later. Most guys know before we go out that I fight, as I generally like to be friends with a guy before we date. It's cool to most guys at first until later when it takes away from other activities........like GAMING....get your minds out of the gutter!

How long will you need to take off before you start training again?
I took all of late week off to be selfish and catch up on my gaming and bad-for-you food eating. I'll be back in the gym this week, going light, but back to training, and ease my way in from there.

What are your thoughts on Carano not fighting Cyborg but instead supposably fighting Kelly Kobold-Gavin?
I understand why they want to put Gina on TV one more time to promote things so Kelly is a good opponant for that. I think I can beat any of them. Whoever fights eachother before that happens, well, they should all remember I have a 28 waist and whoever ends up with a belt first if it's not me, it WILL be mine.

Do you think we will continue to see more women fighting in the MMA leagues? Do you think the UFC will start promoting women fighters?
I think as female MMA and MMA in general gets bigger, we will see more and more organizations showcasing women. The UFC may be late to jump on the boat, but one thing can be said about Dana White, if it can make him money, he is open to it.
