A few years back you had an amazing couple of fights, 2 months apart, against Mirko CroCop and Fedor. You handed Mirko his first KO loss in MMA and came as close as anyone has to finishing Fedor. Having fought both of them, maybe you can comment on their current situations.

With Mirko, he has had a couple of losses in a row and many people have written him off. I don't see it like that and he is still a factor in the heavyweight division, but I'd be interested in your thoughts?

With Fedor, due to inactivity, a lot of people call for him not to be ranked #1 anymore, but I have to disagree. I think it will be obvious when Fedor is no longer #1 and that will be if Randy beats him when that fight comes together. Randy is a close #2 in the world for me right now, but I don't see anyone else becoming #1 soon without beating Fedor. Even if Nog wins the UFC HW belt you still couldn't rank him above Fedor as he has been dominated twice already. How do you see Fedors #1 status?

Great questions..Yes Cro Cop will still be a factor in the HeavyWeight division. He is not used to fighting in that damn cage yet. The cage takes some of his aggressive kicks out of the fight because you don't want to miss and hit that cage with your left foot. Cro Cop is going to learn how to fight in that cage and then it will be tough to beat him!

Alot of these PRIDE guys are learning to fight again with the cage and new rules. Stomps and soccer kicks were huge in PRIDE.

As far as Fedor goes, he should still be ranked #1 in the world and Randy should be #2. Everybody else is in line behind those two guys.

Very cool that Kevin was able to swing by and check in with us, hopefully he will return again sometime.

The wound has closed and looks like a little rug burn now. I am taking it a little easy on that side but I feel GREAT!! The sickness is gone.

Thanks. It is great but I still make some dumb mistakes since I am a ground and pounder. Coming to Couture's I have learned one thing. IF I CAN TAKE YOU DOWN AND YOU CAN"T TAKE ME DOWN, THEN HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BEAT ME? I believe that I am a better fighter than ever before because of my improved ground game! My training now is FULL THROTTLE ATTACK MODE.

TO KEVIN - mine wasn't as bad as yours, but it still hurt like hell, i know what you're going through and i know it seems like it takes FOREVER to get all better, but it'll all be over eventually. at least yours isn't on your butt where mine was - one butt cheek hurt like hell from the MRSA and the other one hurt cause it was the only one i could sit on for weeks. Rolling Eyes Laughing Laughing Laughing i can laugh about it know :X hope you heal fast as possible!!

Yea that sucks. You never know how bad that shit hurts until you get a big one. It teaches you about your body and how to better take care of yourself.
