Yasuhiro Kido and Lee Sung-Hyun to Enter into K-1 World MAX
Yasuhiro Kido and Lee Sung-Hyun to Enter into K-1 World MAX Final 16
As September 14th and the K-1 World MAX Final 16 in Mallorca, Spain rapidly approaches, K-1 Global is proud to announce two more participants for the tournament; Japan’s Yasuhiro Kido and Korea’s Lee Sung-Hyun. Both men have experience fighting in K-1 and will represent their respective countries on one of the biggest stages in the world on September 14th. Each fighter brings their unique experiences and fighting styles to the ring with them for this tournament, with neither man afraid of competing under the bright lights with the world watching.
Yasuhiro Kido is a name that K-1 fans are very familiar with, and for good reason, too. Kido made his first appearance in K-1 back in 2005 and has competed under the MAX banner since then, capturing the K-1 MAX Japan tournament championship in 2008. Kido has fought the best of the best throughout his career and has seen a career resurgence over the last few years, bringing him into this year’s K-1 World MAX Final 16 with hopes of this being the year for Kido.
Lee Sung-Hyun is another name that will be familiar to K-1 fans, as Lee originally got his start in K-1 fighting at 63kgs. It comes as no surprise that the 22 year old fighter has moved up in weight, either, as he has been competing at 70kgs this year and has seen a good deal of success so far, picking up a big tournament win in Korea that paved the road for him to enter the K-1 World MAX Final 16. Lee has been fighting the best that Korea and Japan has to offer, so he should be comfortable facing some of the best fighters in the world in the K-1 World MAX Final 16 tournament.
