In light of recent rumours that Metal Gear Solid 4 could see an update in December, Konami has told CVG that there are "no plans" to release further expansions for the game.
Re-occurring reports suggested an alternative ending might be delivered via DLC next month. It's nothing but wishful thinking, according to Konami. "There are no plans to expand Metal Gear Solid 4," we were told.
"All further expansions are planned for Metal Gear Online," the rep added.
Konami plans to release the next MGO expansion, the Meme Expansion, in November.
While on the subject, Konami is putting out 500 limited edition MGS4 watches for eager collectors to go mental over.
They're being sold in UK exclusively at Gamestation in stores and online for £99.99 from Wednesday, November 12 (see the pic). Get in there quick, or you'll be on eBay trying to get one for twice the price.
