Initially I contacted Stars Guards about a custom mouthguard on October 3. Jeff answered most of my questions and said he'd get the impression kit out right away. Well, it never came. Not only that, but he failed to return my e-mails.
I decided to contact Scott around October 19 after hearing raving reviews about his product, customer service, and turn-around. Scott replied right away. I called him shortly after receiving his e-mail and we chatted for a bit about what I wanted for a design, financials, and some other irrelevant topics.
Customer Service
With his prompt replies through e-mail, and nearly answering 100% of my phone calls, Scott made me feel important as a customer. Additionally, the way he talked to me made me feel like an individual and not just a source of income for him.
We had a financial arrangement, but because I was in the process of moving I couldn't order until a week later than I told him. He was cool about it and still kept his word on pricing. The impression kit came right away and he gave me access to a video he made showing how to take an impression on your own. It eliminated 99% of my questions - short of an odd one he cleared up over the phone.
Once he receiving my impression the turn-around time was a week. Even after receiving my money and giving me my guard he still took one last phone call today and treated me just as good as he did during our first conversation.

The Mouthguard
I wanted a snake-like appearance for my guard and "Anaconda" on the front. For the guard he cut out the individual scales and assembled one of the coolest guards I have ever seen. He suggested a burnt orange font color and I gave him free reign over the font itself. I am very happy with the appearance. There are no odd bubbles or anything.
As for fit - it fits like a glove! It is super tight, very easy to breathe with, I don't drool, and I have to pry it out. It suctions into my upper teeth and stays. He included easy instructions to add my bottom teeth, which I will do later.
Doing a quick roll with it and taking a few weak punches it feels significantly better than a BNB and I will never go back. I can even speak with it in just fine.
He also included a case with my name on it in the same font as "Anaconda" which was a nice personal touch.

Value
I paid $125 for the guard. It is a nice chunk of change to be spending, but for something as important as your teeth I feel it is a worthwhile purchase. Of course I would have preferred to spend less, but considering the speed, quality, and service I received I am happy about where my money went.

Conclusion
Overall I am incredibly happy with the guard, and if I ever need another I am going to Scott. Also, I will recommend him to anyone looking for a guard, whether for rolling, sparring, or custom design. Of course you can see my high scores for him in this review and I will proudly tell everyone that Python Guards handled my guard for me.
