INTIMIDATION CLOTHING SET TO LAUNCH NATIONAL EXPANSION WITH MONTH-LONG CAMPAIGN

ROAMING SHORES, OH – Intimidation Clothing (www.IntimidationClothing.com and @IntimidationMMA) formally announced Tuesday plans to expand its brand nationally by launching a major advertising and marketing campaign set to be featured on noted Mixed Martial Arts broadcasts during the month of September.

Intimidation’s national breakout campaign will commence with the season five premiere of the Bellator Fighting Championships this Saturday, September 10 at 9 p.m. ET live on MTV2 through the sponsorship of several of the promotion’s top athletes.

"Over the past two years Intimidation Clothing has grown into one of the most well-known brands in the MMA industry across the Midwest,” began Intimidation President and CEO Luke Jernigan. “Given the growth of several of our fighters and their signing with Bellator, an easy decision was made to take the brand to the next level and aggressively get our name out there to the entire USA."

Intimidation, which manufactures and distributes premium quality MMA t-shirts, hooded sweat shirts, board shorts, and rash guards, has entered into formal agreements for this Saturday’s event with welterweight tournament quarterfinalists Ben “Killa B” Saunders, Luis “Sapo” Santos, Steve Carl, and Chris “The Cleveland Assassin” Lozano.

The campaign will continue the following weekend with a presence on both HDNet and MTV2. Intimidation will sponsor Legacy Fighting Championships fighters Pete Spratt and Eric Scahmbari on Friday, Sept. 16 live on HDNet at 10 p.m. ET. And again on MTV2 at 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 17 when Intimidation sponsors middleweight Brian “The Predator” Rogers (a signature Brian Rogers t-shirt was just recently unveiled at the company’s website) in Bellator’s middleweight tournament.

The September campaign will conclude on Saturday, September 24 in Canton, Ohio as Intimidation lends its support to Bellator bantamweight tournament quarterfinalists Alexis Vila and Ed West. Intimidation will also be lending its support to two rising prospects fighting on the undercard in the form of Jessica Eye and Dan Spohn, whose fights will air live on the Internet on Spike.com.

For the past two years, Intimidation has been a leading clothing brand within the Midwest fight scene and has served as a support mechanism for many of the scene’s top prospects to finance training needed to take their careers to the next level. Jernigan is proud that his company’s national expansion is occurring at the same time some of its long-time sponsored athletes are breaking out nationally as well.

"Over the past two years Intimidation Clothing has proudly sponsored many of the top up-and-coming fighters in the Midwest with the goal of helping these fighters realize their dreams,” Jernigan said. “I have proudly watched as athletes like Brian Rogers, Chris Lozano and Jessica Eye grow right before my eyes from stars on the regional circuit with the NAAFS to stars in the making for Bellator. Knowing we had any part in that, even just helping them pay their bills to train each month, is an amazing feeling."

Intimidation is further lending its support to the MMA community and the growth of its athletes through a sixth-month sponsorship commitment to Strikeforce and DREAM veteran and current Bellator welterweight competitor Karl Amoussou. Thanks to Intimidation’s support, Amoussou was recently able to leave France in order to intensify training by coming to the U.S. as he prepares for multiple fights this fall.

“We recently announced our sponsorship of Karl Amoussou, one of the top fighters in all of Europe,” stated Jernigan. “We are pleased to be able to help Karl take his training to the next level with Daddis Fight Camps in Philadelphia so that he can fulfill his dream prepare for a run at the Bellator Season 6 welterweight tournament."

The main goal of Intimidation’s breakout national campaign is to expose a larger audience to its core values, which is to take a vested interest in the sport of MMA and its athletes as opposed to simply exploiting the popularity of the sport purely for its own financial gain.

"The sponsorships of Brian Rogers, Chris Lozano, Luis Santos and many of these fighters in many ways parallels where the Intimidation brand is: following your dreams and striving for that level of greatness,” said Jernigan. “Any one of these fighters could be a few months away from a $100,000 payday just as Intimidation Clothing is poised to become a major player in in the MMA apparel industry.”
