K-1 Rising 2012 - World Max Final 16 2012 - Live Results
K-1 World Max Final 16 2012 - Fight Card:
K-1 MAX Bouts:
Andy Ristie def. Gago Drago via Decision (3-0)
- Drago looked nothing like his former self in this fight and Ristle used precise striking to take every round.
Chris Ngimbi def. Longern Superpro Samui via Decision (3-0)
- Closer fight than the scoring as Longern put up a good fight.
Mike Zambidis def. Chahid Oulad El Hadj via KO (Punches) Round 3
- Calm, cool and strategic, Zambidis picked apart Chahid for three rounds before scoring the KO with a left-hook.
Yasuhiro Kido def. Xu Yan via KO (Spinning Backfist) Round 3
- Kido was arguably losing this fight until the third when he turned it up and landed that smashing spinning backfist.
Reese McCallister def. Yuji Nashiro via Decision (3-0)
- The 20 year old McCallister was making his K-1 debut and was impressive.
Murthel Groenhart def. Harut Grigorian via KO (Punches) Round 3
- Grigorian easily won the first two rounds but Groenhart had an unbelievable comeback in round three for the win.
Andy Souwer def. Abraham Roqueni via Decision (2-1)
- Very even fight once again and it could have gone anyway in my opinion but the judges give it to Souwer and he gets his revenge.
Artur Kyshenko def. Su Hwan Lee via KO (Punches) Round 2
- After a close first round, Kyshenko unloaded to start round two and the second knockdown put Lee on ice.
Heavyweight Bouts:
Sergei Laschenko def. Rico Verhoeven via Extra Round Decision (2-1)
- Laschenko turned it on in the extra round to take the decision. Good fight!
Daniel Ghita def. Wendell Roche via TKO (Corner Stoppage) Round
- Last minute replacement Roche was a game opponent but he took a hell of a beating for that paycheck.
Mirko Cro Cop def. Loren Javier Jorge via KO (Punches) Round 2
- Appearing not in the best shape of his life, Cro Cop used powerful, precise striking to crush Jorge, ending the fight with uppercuts.
Badr Hari def. Anderson "Braddock" Silva via Decision (3-0)
- Hari looked great in round one and scored a knockdown but he looked gassed the rest of the fight and Silva put forth a great effort and nearly took this fight.

Some real fucking good fights today and if they can fix the HD stream issue............ It would have been on par or better than the Glory World Series.
Also, they announced this today..............
