Perfect World to showcase Brand New Content in Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter at Gamescom 2012


Perfect World Europe is proud to announce its plans for Gamescom, 15 – 19 August, 2012, at the Koelnmesse in Koeln, Germany. Headlining this year's Perfect World booth (hall 4.1, D-015,) is Neverwinter, a free action MMORPG based on the world-renowned Dungeons & Dragons franchise.

Set in the iconic Dungeons & Dragons city of Neverwinter, this free-to-play MMORPG will take players from the besieged walls of the city, once known as The Jewel of The North, to subterranean passageways in search of forgotten secrets and lost treasure. Epic adventures, intense combat and classic roleplaying await those heroes courageous enough to enter the fantastic world of Faerun and the ruined city of Neverwinter.

Those who visit the Perfect World booth will get an exclusive first-look at unseen content with new features being revealed. Attendees can look forward to playing Storming the Keep, one of the game’s many public events designed to offer players something new every day. Set in the Black Dagger Ruins zone, players will band together to reclaim a fortress that has fallen into the hands of an ill-intentioned group of bandits.

Registered members of the press with appointments can look forward to specialized Neverwinter demos with the opportunity to preview additional features and details about the game at B2B booth, Hall 4.1, D-015. Coverage opportunities include interviews with Cryptic Studios Chief Operating Officer Craig Zinkievich and Games System Designer Lindsay Haven regarding the progress and development of Neverwinter.
