Trigg to Accompany At-Risk Youth to ‘Toughman Hawaii’ Event
MMA Veteran Frank Trigg to Accompany At-Risk Youth to ‘Toughman Hawaii’ Event in Hilo, HI
Las Vegas, NV – August 30, 2011 – MMA veteran Frank Trigg will be making an appearance at the Central Pacific Youth Athletic Club in Hilo, Hawaii on Saturday, September 1. In addition to speaking to the at-risk youth about overcoming adversity, staying out of trouble, and the importance of finding positive outlets to occupy their free time, he will be accompanying them to the ‘Toughman Hawaii’ event. The MMA event will take place at the Hilo Civic Center in Hilo, HI this Saturday night.
According to Frank Trigg, "I look forward to speaking with the kids at the Central Pacific Youth Athletic Club in Hilo and taking them to the Toughman event. One of the things that I like most about being a recognized MMA personality are opportunities like this. I take pride in being a mentor to adolescents that need a positive influence in their lives.”
Trigg went on to say, “Central Pacific Youth Athletic Club is a great organization that offers a safe haven for kids and young adults in Hilo, Hawaii. They provide a wide range of services that address problems today’s youth are facing.”
The mission of the Central Pacific Youth Athletic Club in Hilo, Hawaii is to provide a safe environment for kids and young adult’s ages 5-22, offering support through health and fitness, school tutoring, and educational guidance pertaining to a wide variety of social issues. The athletic club has a network of tutors to aid participants with their schoolwork, as well as physical fitness instructors, teachers, and psychologists to assist with any situation that needs immediate attention.
